Who decided that then?

At work I have a tendency to mis-dial on the phone. Like ALL the time.

And then it occurred to me why. I work in Accounts. I spend a lot of time tapping away at a calculator.

So, WHO THE FUCK DECIDED THAT A PHONE’S KEYPAD SHOULD BE DIFFERENT TO A CALCULATOR’S?!?!?!

And then the world went, ‘Yep, that’s a good idea – we’re all totally on board with that,’ seeing as how these things are universal.

I mean, really?!

  1. I totally get this. I have often wondered the same thing. I have such a hard time dialing numbers that I don’t call often.

    1. I can picture a board meeting with them all high-giving each other at the design meeting for the first ever touch-pad phone…and then not realising they’d put the keypad upside down Til it was too late. And we still have to endure that cock-up now.
